BRAKE Driver Awareness courses are taught in Queensland High Schools by accredited BRAKE teachers.
This is an online accreditation course which will introduce you to the key concepts of the BRAKE methodology and familiarise you with the course materials.
The course uses online instruction and quizzes to strep through the material, followed by a multiple choice test to gain full accreditation. Qualified teachers are sent a certificate of currency which lasts for three years.
The cost of the course is tax deductible and the course qualifies as part of the Education Queensland Continuing Professional Development Framework.
Thousands of year eleven students in schools throughout Queensland have completed the eight-part BRAKE Driver Awareness course. Public and private schools participate.
BRAKE Driver Awareness is unique, we are an approved part of the Queensland high-school curriculum.
Many government agencies, academic institutions and private and public companies have helped the volunteers at BRAKE develop the innovative BRAKE Driver Awareness program. These organisations also provide the vital ongoing assistance and support we need to deliver this program into schools.
